Free domain giveaways are an easy way of bringing in traffic to your blog but not everyone does it because it involves some investment. You're giving away something for free. The only way to get this right is to make sure that a lot of people know about the contests. After all, isn't that the aim?

Now I regularly google for free domain giveaways in this month and I came cross this. So am adding my entry. This is from a really cool website called SEOblogging tips. Apparently they practice what they preach. lol.

Review 21st Century Breakdown

21^st century breakdown is a fitting sequel to American Idiot. Be it, in terms of musical ability or lyrics Greenday have outdone themselves. The album 21^st Century breakdown is organized into three acts. It falls under the Rock opera genre. All the eighteen songs revolve around two central characters, namely, Christian and Gloria.

The lyrics come out with emotions of a rebel, an angst-filled cry against being controlled by a government. It’s about being “born into a Nixon”, being “a non believer”, having a restless heart syndrome and how people were before the lobotomy. Ranging from direct accusation to subtle hints, Greenday brings out the anger and passionate rebellion in a way that reminds you of your teen days.

In terms of song quality, there are no eight minute songs and the lyrics are loud and clear. Sometimes, a little too loud but that’s excusable. Lyrics stick to the central theme and the songs are organized in an operatic fashion. The orchestration brings out the grandiose of opera in some songs while in others rock is more prominent. In all, the tunes are very catchy and you’d find yourself humming them in no time. Some chord progressions are extremely melodic. The drums could have been better. Needless to say, Greenday do their thing with the guitars.

Special mention for the album art and cover design, which is typically Greenday. Geenday have managed to strike a balance between maintaining their brand image and include some experimentation into their music. Best songs of the album would be Peacemaker, East Jesus Nowhere, Viva la Gloria, 21^st Century Breakdown and know your enemy. I find that the songs in the third act seem to bore you a bit. Overall, this is an explosive album.

What Bourne Ultimatum Lacks

What the Bourne Ultimatum watchers(people who havent read the book but have seen the movie) miss is the high intensity battle between Jason Bourne and Carlos the Jackal. Man that would be a treat to watch.

Vaaranam Aayiram

Gautam Menon Delivers. So does Surya. Harris, though lifts a tune here and drops it there, scores splendidly.
Vaaranam Aayiram takes Suriya to a whole new level. The kind of expressions he exhibits, he has definitely matured really well as an actor.
Who said Gautam Menon can only make police stories? He can make army stories as well :P
Why, oh why, should all those good lookin women die in Gautam Menon movies? First it was Jo now Sameera.
The scene in which Surya's supposedly fighting as part of the NSG seemed a little funny. The slow motion version where he screams "Fire" looks as though he is screaming an entirely different four letter word that starts with f.
However, what I MUST mention that Surya, with his six pack build has lost some of his charm and that beauty of his face, which was so evident in Gajini.
The father character looks very harsh to they eye. And the guy with curly hair is almost as detestable as that shrek.
Simran though playin an unfamiliar role, does an AMAZING job. or maybe i'm a little biased, but all the women did their parts well.
Surya's acting is flawless, so is gautam's narration but I still cant get over how short surya looks in this movie thanks to that stout body, he looks like a drum now.
Harris deserves special credit.
Bottomline :worth your money.

City of Gods

ok so once in a while you end up watching a movie thats not english and somehow u like it better. Maybe the subtitles take you away from the screen for a bit.

But the thing I liked about city of gods was the way the two kids were portrayed. Apart from that, there are so many black kids all of the same age group that sometimes you wonder which one is who. Screenplay had me in tears its like a string of loosely connected events. I dunno maybe the scenes could have been in a better sequence.

And the scene where the kid gets laid by a middle aged lady had me in splits, though it was not meant to. :D

Photography, (or is it cinematography?) is good some of the shots seem really cool, take the poster below for instance.

Anyway, the verdict is watch if you are into gangsta stuff but otherwise, you'd be better off without this.

Find any movie software or game

Here's an amazing way to search for files in rapidshare.

There are a host of search engines like rapidfox and rapidshare-search engine etc...all these people do the same thing...get your request and convert it to a google request that searches rapidshare files. It is actually simple if u wanna do it yourself but why go through all that trouble when u have the convenience of doing it the easier way?

Just type http://www.hellafiles.com and type ur request in the search box. There's always a link for the movie, game or software u r looking for. So just be patient and search properly. If u don find what u want then maybe u typed it wrong try different keywords it is bound to work unless u r looking for a red book about old men. For movies, the best way is to type the name. If that fails, include the year and then type dvd rip.

If this also fails, go to http://blogsearch.google.com and type the movie's name and type rapidshare with a space in between. This ought to get it.

I felt so confident that I started answering requests on orkut for people. So go ahead. try it out. You can definitely find any file u r looking for 90% of the time.

How to Bypass Rapidshare Download Limit

Rapidshare traces the users IP address to limit each user to a certain amount of downloading per day. To get around this, you need to show the rapidshare server a different IP address.

Here are some methods for doing this:

1. Short-Out the JavaScript:

FREE

javascript:alert(c=0)

2. Request a new IP address from your ISP server.

Start

run

cmd.exe

ENTER

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

5. Erase your cookies in whatever browser you are using.
6. Try the rapidshare download again.

Frequently you will be assigned a new IP address when this happens. Sometime you will, sometimes you will not. If you are on a fixed IP address, this method will not work. To be honest, I do not know how to do this in linux/unix/etc. If this works for you, you may want to save the above commands into a batch file, and just run it when you need it.

3. Use a proxy with SwitchProxy and Firefox:

Download and install Firefox

Download and install SwitchProxy

Google for free proxies

4. Use an anonymous service:

Cheat Rapidshare download Limit

Here's a crack for Rapidshare..You know that your IP is dynamic and everytime you switch it off and turn it on again, you can cheat the rapidshare download limit but here's a better way. Copy the following text into a notepad and save it as rapidshare.bat (any filename but .bat) and execute it(double click) every time you finish downloading one file

ipconfig/flushdns ipconfig/release ipconfig/renew exit

Once this is done...after every file download...delete your cache and history(ctrl+shift+del in firefox) and execute this file.

Dataone usage Finder

Dataone, BSNL broadband with its exclusive "up to" 2 mbps speed is rocking all of india in the year of broadband 2007. However they do not have a ny neat software bundled along with it. So here's a VB based tool that shows you your daily Internet usage along with a chart and total usage meter. I have personally used it and it works like magic. Neat and simple but effective tool.

Hide your IP

In a previous post, I'd mentioned how to get rid of one troublesome situation...Rapidshare is where several valuable downloads are. They allow you to download only one file for every 200 minutes. To overcome this, I'd advised you to switch off your modem and switch it on again. This changes your IP address but here's a utility that comes along with an in built browser and works fine with IE and Mozilla Firefox. It changes your IP every time you use the program. So now you don't have to do any physical work(For all you couch potatoes out there, this might add a few extra pounds).

What I must tell you is that this is a 3 day Trial version and Mozilla demands a Plug In install. Some of the features are stalled and I'm checking on the serial code for it. Will update as soon as available.

The tool comes in real handy when you visit sites that restricts access to users from a particular country.

It works fine with Windows XP/2000/2003/NT/Vista

Guys, this site is absolutely amazing for all you bollywood lovers out there. One stop shop for songs from movies right from 1970s to the latest. The songs are available in two formats...Real Media and windows audio format. It also has an amazing archive of lyrics for each of these songs. I've used this service personally. Why free crap n shit?

Free crap n shit was conceived when i visited an excellent blog that upholds the motto "Everything Fine Has to be free". For those of you geeks out there, no this isn't open source. One, I do not make any of these free stuff. Two, these stuff aren't really for free. So this blog is for those of you who don't mind having pirated stuff. I've been to a lot of those message boards that give you latest movie downloads for free. But the print isn't fine. Quality is the motto. And over here again you wouldn't find any shareware links. What I propose is a blog that either contains links to site providing free stuff or containing the direct links to downloading the stuff discussed, so u don't have to strain yourself looking for it. If possible, I'll give you my ID and password for certain sites, that require registration so you can use it and save time. This blog is for people who want free stuff and want it fast. Like myself.
